Pyttipanna
A popular swedish home-style dish with boiled potatoes, ham or sausage, onion, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Boiled potatoes700 g
- Ham or sausage300 g
- Onion1 pcs
- Eggs4 pcs
- Butter40 g
- Pickled beets150 g
- Pickles40 g
Instructions
Dice the cooked potatoes and meat or sausage into small even cubes.
Chop the onion and fry it in butter until soft.
Add the potatoes and fry until browned around the edges.
Add the meat or sausage, stir, and cook until lightly crisp.
Fry the eggs separately with soft yolks.
Serve pyttipanna with the egg, pickled beets, or pickles.
