Swedish Yellow Pea Soup

Ingredients

  • Dried peas300 g
  • Pork500 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Carrot1 pcs
  • Mustard1 tbsp
  • Broth or water800 ml
  • Marjoram1 tsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

Soak the dried peas overnight, then rinse.

Cover the pork, peas, onion, and carrot with broth or water.

Bring to a boil, skim, and simmer gently for 1.5-2 hours.

Remove the pork, cut it into pieces, and return it to the soup.

Add marjoram, salt, and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
