Ingredients

  • Bulgur250 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp
  • Olive oil2 tbsp
  • Broth or water800 ml
  • Vermicelli80 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

For Cypriot Bulgur Pilaf, cut onion, bulgur and tomato paste into serving pieces.

Brown onion lightly.

Add onion and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in olive oil and broth or water and add vermicelli.

Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.
