French shepherd-style bake with meat ragout and mashed potatoes

Ingredients

  • Potatoes600 g
  • Beef mince600 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Carrot1 pcs
  • Butter40 g
  • Milk300 ml
  • Gruyere100 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp
  • Broth500 ml

Instructions

Boil the potatoes and mash them with butter and milk.

Cook the beef mince with onion and carrot until done.

Add a little broth or tomato paste and season with salt and pepper.

Spread the meat base in a baking dish.

Top with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 190°C for 20-25 minutes until browned.
