Fabada Asturiana

A popular spanish home-style dish with white beans, chorizo, blood sausage, well suited for a family weekly menu.

Ingredients

  • White beans500 g
  • Chorizo200 g
  • Blood sausage150 g
  • Pork belly250 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Paprika1 tsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

Rinse white beans and onion; soak dry legumes and cook until tender.

Chop onion and saute until soft.

Add blood sausage, pork belly, white beans and onion and pour in water.

Simmer gently until thick.

At the end, stir in chorizo and paprika, then season with salt and pepper.

Serve hot.
