Peppers stuffed with meat and rice in tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • Bell peppers8 pcs
  • Pork and beef mince600 g
  • Rice250 g
  • Canned tomatoes400 g
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Paprika1 tsp
  • Cream150 ml
  • Sour cream100 g
  • Water500 ml

Instructions

Core the peppers, keeping them as whole cups.

Cook rice halfway and mix it with mince, onion, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Fill the peppers loosely because the rice will expand.

In a pot, mix tomato sauce or passata with water, salt, and a pinch of sugar.

Place the peppers in the sauce and simmer covered for 45-60 minutes.

Serve with sour cream or fresh bread.
