- split peas350 g
- smoked sausage300 g
- potato3 pcs
- onion1 pcs
- carrot2 pcs
- celery2 stalks
- broth1500 ml
- salt1 to taste
- black pepper1 to taste
- bay leaf2 pcs
Instructions

Rinse the split peas and soak for 2–3 hours or overnight.

Fry onion, carrot, and celery until soft.

Add peas, potatoes, broth, and bay leaf.

Simmer for 60 minutes until the peas start breaking down.

Slice the sausage and add it during the last 10 minutes.
