Greek Horiatiki Salad
A fresh village-style horiatiki salad made with juicy vegetables, salty kalamata olives and large chunks of Greek feta, dressed with olive oil and oregano.
Ingredients
- tomato3 pcs
- cucumber1 pcs
- green bell pepper1 pcs
- red onion0.5 pcs
- feta cheese100 g
- Kalamata olives80 g
- olive oil2 tbsp
- dried oregano1 tsp
- salt1 to taste
Instructions
Cut the tomatoes into large wedges and the cucumber into thick half-moons.
Slice the green bell pepper into thin rings and the red onion into thin half-moons.
Arrange the vegetables in a large bowl or on a platter, and add the kalamata olives whole or halved.
Break the feta into large chunks (or cut into cubes) and place on top.
Drizzle generously with olive oil.
Sprinkle with dried oregano and season lightly with salt — the feta and olives are already salty. Serve immediately.
