- red kidney beans300 g
- coconut milk400 ml
- tomato300 g

- rice300 g

Instructions

Rinse the legumes and soak them ahead if needed; simply drain canned beans.

Cook the onion, garlic, peppers, or tomatoes until soft.

Add Red kidney beans, Coconut milk, Tomatoes, Rice and stir into the aromatic base.

Pour in the water, broth, or coconut milk from the recipe and simmer until tender.

Mash part of the beans if you want a thicker texture.

Serve Maharagwe hot as a main dish or with rice or flatbread.
