Ingredients

  • Red cabbage800 g
  • Apples2 pcs
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Vinegar3 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tbsp
  • Butter40 g
  • Cloves3 pcs
  • Salt1 to taste

Instructions

Shred the cabbage thinly and grate or slice the apples.

Fry onion in butter until soft.

Add cabbage, apples, vinegar, sugar, cloves, and a little water.

Cover and braise for 45–60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Adjust salt, acidity, and sweetness at the end.
