Red Braised Pork

Ingredients

  • Pork belly800 g
  • Soy sauce5 tbsp
  • Sugar2 tbsp
  • Ginger30 g
  • Rice wine100 ml
  • Spring onion30 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Dry wine150 ml
  • Fresh ginger1 tsp

Instructions

For Red Braised Pork, cut spring onion, pork belly and rice wine into serving pieces.

Brown pork belly lightly.

Add spring onion and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in soy sauce and add sugar and ginger.

Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.

Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
