Finnish homemade meatballs in cream gravy

Ingredients

  • Pork and beef mince500 g
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Breadcrumbs70 g
  • Milk300 ml
  • Cream200 ml
  • Butter40 g
  • Wheat flour400 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Broth or water400 ml

Instructions

Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for 10 minutes.

Mix the mince with egg, soaked breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.

Shape small meatballs.

Brown them in butter.

For the sauce, melt butter, add flour, then add cream and a little water or broth and cook until thickened.
