Spanish Lentils with Chorizo

Ingredients

  • Green lentils350 g
  • Chorizo180 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Carrot1 pcs
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp
  • Smoked paprika1 tsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

Rinse tomato paste, green lentils, onion and carrot; soak dry legumes and cook until tender.

Chop onion and carrot and saute until soft.

Add green lentils, onion, carrot and tomato paste and pour in water.

Simmer gently until thick.

At the end, stir in chorizo and smoked paprika, then season with salt and pepper.

Serve hot.
