Izmir Kofte

Meat patties with potatoes baked in tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • Beef mince500 g
  • Potatoes700 g
  • Tomato sauce300 ml
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Breadcrumbs80 g
  • Paprika2 tsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

Chop tomato sauce and onion and prepare beef mince and eggs.

Mix with potatoes, breadcrumbs and paprika, salt, and pepper.

Knead the mixture and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Shape patties, balls, or small sausages of even size.
