Currywurst

Berlin-style sausages with tomato curry sauce.

Ingredients

  • German sausages4 pcs
  • Ketchup150 g
  • Tomato paste1 tbsp
  • Curry powder2 tsp
  • Paprika1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce1 tsp
  • Oil1 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Water500 ml

Instructions

Fry or bake the sausages until browned.

Warm tomato paste with oil in a small saucepan for 1 minute.

Add ketchup, curry powder, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and a few spoonfuls of water.

Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes until thick; balance salt and sweetness.

Slice the sausages or leave them whole.

Pour over the sauce, dust with curry powder, and serve with fries or a roll.
