Chicken Marsala

Chicken with mushrooms in Marsala wine sauce

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast600 g
  • Mushrooms300 g
  • Marsala wine150 ml
  • Butter40 g
  • Wheat flour250 g
  • Parsley20 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Dry wine150 ml

Instructions

Cut the chicken breasts into thin cutlets, season with salt and pepper, and dredge in flour.

Slice the mushrooms and chop the parsley.

Fry the chicken in butter for 3-4 minutes per side, then set aside.

In the same pan, cook the mushrooms for 5-6 minutes until browned.

Pour in the Marsala wine, reduce for 2 minutes, return the chicken, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve the chicken with the mushroom sauce.
