Three-Cup Chicken
A popular taiwanese home-style dish with chicken thighs, soy sauce, rice wine, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs800 g
- Soy sauce80 ml
- Rice wine80 ml
- Sesame oil60 ml
- Garlic cloves8 cloves
- Basil30 g
- Sugar1 tsp
- Fresh ginger1 tsp
- Dry wine150 ml
Instructions
Cut the chicken into pieces, peel the garlic, and slice the ginger.
Heat sesame oil in a pan, add ginger and garlic, and cook until fragrant.
Add the chicken and brown it lightly.
Pour in soy sauce and rice wine and add a little sugar.
Simmer uncovered until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
Add Thai basil at the end, toss quickly, and serve with rice.
