Miyeok Guk
A home-style soup with a regional aromatic base.
Ingredients
- Miyeok seaweed30 g
- Beef600 g
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Garlic3 cloves
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper0.5 tsp
Instructions
Cut Miyeok seaweed, Beef, Soy sauce, Sesame oil; separately prepare the aromatic base with spices, garlic, or ginger.
In a pot, cook the base in oil or fat if that fits the recipe.
Add the main ingredients and cover with water, broth, or the coconut base from the recipe.
Simmer until the protein, grains, or vegetables are tender.
At the end add herbs, noodles, sour seasoning, or dairy if included.
Adjust the salt and serve hot without adding ingredients outside the recipe.
