Italian Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Juicy meatballs in tomato sauce for pasta or polenta
Ingredients
- Beef and pork mince600 g
- Eggs2 pcs
- Breadcrumbs70 g
- Parmesan80 g
- Canned tomatoes400 g
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fresh basil15 g
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
Instructions
Chop canned tomatoes and garlic and prepare beef and pork mince and eggs.
Mix with breadcrumbs, parmesan and fresh basil, salt, and pepper.
Knead the mixture and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Shape patties, balls, or small sausages of even size.
Fry in a pan or grill until browned and cooked through.
Serve hot with a side dish or sauce.
