Ingredients
- Sauerkraut400 g
- Pork and beef mince500 g
- Rice250 g
- Onion1 pcs
- Smoked meat300 g
- Tomato paste2 tbsp
- Paprika2 tsp
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
Instructions

Rinse sauerkraut leaves if too salty and trim the thick ribs.

Mix mince with rice, onion, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Wrap the filling in the leaves into small rolls.

Line the pot with chopped sauerkraut or smoked meat.

Layer the sarma and cover with water or tomato sauce.

Simmer for 1.5-2 hours over low heat until the cabbage is very tender.
