Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder1000 g
  • Orange1 pcs
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Garlic cloves5 cloves
  • Cumin1 tsp
  • Tortillas8 pcs
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

For Carnitas, cut onion, garlic cloves, pork shoulder and tortillas into serving pieces.

Brown pork shoulder lightly.

Add onion and garlic cloves and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in water and add orange and cumin.

Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.

Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
