Greek meatballs with mint, onion, and oregano.

Ingredients

  • Pork and beef mince500 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Garlic3 cloves
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Breadcrumbs80 g
  • Mint15 g
  • Oregano1 tsp
  • Olive oil2 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Dried oregano1 tsp

Instructions

Finely chop the onion and garlic and chop the mint.

Mix the mince with onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, mint, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Knead well and let rest for 15 minutes.

Shape small balls or flat patties.

Fry in olive oil for 4-5 minutes per side.

Serve hot with tzatziki, salad, or potatoes.
