Kung Pao Chicken
A popular chinese home-style dish with chicken breast, peanuts, dried chilies, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast600 g
- Peanuts100 g
- Dried chilies4 pcs
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Vinegar2 tbsp
- Starch1 tbsp
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Sugar1 tsp
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fresh ginger1 tsp
- Rice vinegar2 tbsp
- Oil2 tbsp
- Broth500 ml
- Water500 ml
Instructions
Cut the chicken into cubes and marinate with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a little oil.
Mix the sauce from soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, water or broth, and cornstarch.
In a hot pan, fry dried chilies and Sichuan pepper until fragrant.
Add the chicken and stir-fry until it changes color.
Add garlic, ginger, spring onion, and peanuts.
Pour in the sauce, toss until thickened, and serve with rice.
