Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced beef400 g
  • Potatoes700 g
  • Carrots2 pcs
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Soy sauce4 tbsp
  • Mirin3 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Dashi stock or water500 ml

Instructions

Slice the beef thinly and cut potatoes, carrot, and onion into large pieces.

Briefly fry the meat with onion in a pot.

Add potatoes and carrot and stir.

Pour in dashi or water, soy sauce, mirin, and a little sugar.

Simmer covered until the potatoes are tender, skimming foam.

Let the dish rest for a few minutes and serve with rice.
