Gnocchi with Tomato Sauce
A popular italian home-style dish with potato gnocchi, tomato sauce, garlic cloves, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Potato gnocchi600 g
- Tomato sauce400 g
- Garlic cloves2 cloves
- Parmesan80 g
- Basil15 g
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions
Cook potato gnocchi in salted water until done, reserving a little cooking water.
Prepare the sauce: chop garlic cloves and warm in a pan.
Add tomato sauce and garlic cloves and cook to the right tenderness.
Stir in olive oil, parmesan and basil and heat into a smooth sauce.
Combine the pasta or noodles with the sauce, adding a little cooking water for a creamy texture.
Serve immediately while hot.
