Gnocchi with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • Potato gnocchi600 g
  • Tomato sauce400 g
  • Garlic cloves2 cloves
  • Parmesan80 g
  • Basil15 g
  • Olive oil2 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste

Instructions

Cook potato gnocchi in salted water until done, reserving a little cooking water.

Prepare the sauce: chop garlic cloves and warm in a pan.

Add tomato sauce and garlic cloves and cook to the right tenderness.

Stir in olive oil, parmesan and basil and heat into a smooth sauce.

Combine the pasta or noodles with the sauce, adding a little cooking water for a creamy texture.

Serve immediately while hot.
