Polish Pickle Soup
A Polish dill pickle soup with potatoes, vegetables, and sour cream.
Ingredients
- Dill pickles4 pcs
- Potatoes3 pcs
- Carrot1 pcs
- Onion1 pcs
- Broth1200 ml
- Sour cream120 g
- Butter20 g
- Dill15 g
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions
Prepare a light chicken or vegetable broth.
Dice the potatoes and simmer them in the broth for 10 minutes.
Fry carrot and onion in butter until soft, then add them to the soup.
Grate the pickles and add them with a few spoonfuls of pickle brine.
Simmer for another 10 minutes, then stir in sour cream tempered with hot broth.
Season if needed, add dill, and serve hot.
