Pastitsio
Greek baked pasta with meat sauce and creamy bechamel.
Ingredients
- Pasta300 g
- Beef mince500 g
- Canned tomatoes400 g
- Onion1 pcs
- Garlic3 cloves
- Milk300 ml
- Butter40 g
- Wheat flour300 g
- Hard cheese180 g
- Cinnamon0.5 tsp
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions
Cook pasta and wheat flour in salted water until done, reserving a little cooking water.
Prepare the sauce: chop onion and garlic and warm in a pan.
Add beef mince, canned tomatoes, onion and garlic and cook to the right tenderness.
Stir in milk, butter, hard cheese and cinnamon and heat into a smooth sauce.
Combine the pasta or noodles with the sauce, adding a little cooking water for a creamy texture.
Serve immediately while hot.
