Polish Chicken Rosol
A clear Polish chicken broth served with noodles and vegetables.
Ingredients
- Chicken or chicken thighs800 g
- Carrots2 pcs
- Parsley root1 pcs
- Celery1 стебло
- Onion1 pcs
- Egg noodles150 g
- Parsley20 g
- Bay leaves2 pcs
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Broth500 ml
Instructions
Cover the chicken with cold water, slowly bring to a simmer, and skim the foam.
Add carrot, parsley root, celery, onion, bay leaf, and peppercorns.
Simmer very gently for 1.5 hours without a hard boil.
Strain the broth, shred the meat, and slice the vegetables.
Cook the noodles separately so the broth stays clear.
Serve rosol with noodles, chicken pieces, vegetables, and parsley.
