Tteokbokki
A popular korean home-style dish with rice cakes, gochujang, fish cakes, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Rice cakes500 g
- Gochujang3 tbsp
- Fish cakes200 g
- Cabbage200 g
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Spring onion30 g
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Sesame seeds1 tbsp
- Broth500 ml
Instructions
Soak rice cakes in warm water for 10 minutes if needed.
In a pan, mix water or broth, gochujang, soy sauce, and sugar.
Bring the sauce to a boil and add the rice cakes.
Add fish cakes, cabbage, or spring onion if included.
Cook, stirring often, until the rice cakes are soft and the sauce thickens.
Serve hot with sesame seeds and spring onion.
