For "Bosnian Grah", cut the white beans, onion, carrot, canned tomatoes and beef into convenient pieces.

In a pot, heat the fat or a small amount of liquid and sauté the onion and carrot for 3–5 minutes.

Add the beef, white beans, onion and carrot and pour in the broth or water.

Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cook until the densest components are tender.

At the end, stir in the paprika and broth or water, season with salt and pepper.
