Uzbek braised meat with vegetables, cooked in layers in their own juices.
Ingredienti
- agnello o manzo800 g
- patata600 g
- carota3 pz
- cipolla3 pz
- cavolo400 g
- peperone2 pz

- aglio1 testa
- cumino1 cucchiaino
- olio3 cucchiaio
Istruzioni
In a cauldron, fry the pieces of meat until golden brown.
Layer the onions, carrots, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and cabbage on top.
Add garlic, cumin, salt, and a few spoonfuls of water.
Cover with a lid very tightly and cook over low heat.
Braise for 1.5–2 hours without stirring the layers.
Serve by carefully scooping meat and vegetables from all the layers.
