- latticello o kefir350 ml

Preheat the oven to 200 °C, grease the tin or line it with paper.

Mix wholemeal flour, a little white flour, baking soda, salt, and bran if desired.

Add buttermilk or kefir and quickly stir together to form a soft dough.

Transfer to the tin and smooth the top.

Bake for 35–45 minutes until a firm crust forms.

Cool on a wire rack and serve with butter or soup.
