Spanish Tortilla
A homemade Spanish omelette with potato and onion, conveniently served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Ingredienti
- patata600 g
- uovo6 pz
- cipolla1 pz
- olio d'oliva80 ml
- sale1 cucchiaino
- pepe nero0.5 cucchiaino
Istruzioni
Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly, cut the onion into half-rings.
Heat olive oil in a pan, add the potatoes and onion, and cook for 15–18 minutes over medium heat until soft.
Beat the eggs with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Add the warm potatoes and onion to the eggs, gently mix, and leave for 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture into a greased pan and cook for 6–8 minutes over low heat until the bottom has set.
Cover with a plate, flip the tortilla, and return it to the pan on the other side; cook for a further 3–5 minutes and slice after a brief rest.
