Mashed Potatoes with Homemade Cutlet
A classic family lunch: smooth mashed potatoes, a meat cutlet, and a simple gravy

- pane bianco80 g
- latte200 ml
- cipolla1 pz
- burro50 g
- pangrattato60 g
- sale1 a piacere
- pepe nero1 a piacere
- farina2 cucchiaio
- brodo500 ml
Istruzioni
Peel the potatoes, cut them, and boil in salted water until tender.
Mix the ground meat with an egg, bread soaked in milk, onion, salt, and pepper.
Shape the cutlets, coat in breadcrumbs, and fry for 4–5 minutes on each side.
Drain the water from the potatoes, add milk and butter, and mash into a purée.
For the gravy, heat a little broth in a pan with a spoonful of flour until thickened.
Serve the mashed potatoes with the cutlet and gravy.
