  • patata700 g
  • farina di frumento300 g
  • burro40 g
  • sale1 a piacere

Boil the potatoes until soft and mash them into a purée.

Add butter, salt and flour, and knead into a soft potato dough.

Shape into a round cake about 1 cm thick.

Cut it into 4 triangles.

Fry the farls in a dry or lightly greased pan for 3–4 minutes on each side.

Serve warm for breakfast or in place of bread.
