Cut the meat into large pieces, and the vegetables into large chunks.

Layer the onion, meat, peppers, tomatoes, and potatoes in a pot.

Add garlic, salt, and herbs.

Pour in 200–300 ml of water, cover with a lid, and place over low heat.

Braise for 2–2.5 hours, without stirring too often, until the meat becomes very tender.
