Roast pork with dumplings and stewed cabbage

Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder1000 g
  • Sauerkraut600 g
  • Dumplings600 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Caraway1 tsp
  • Oil2 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Vinegar1 tbsp
  • Flour2 tbsp

Instructions

Rub the pork with salt, caraway, and garlic, then roast or braise until tender.

Stew the cabbage with onion, caraway, vinegar, and a pinch of sugar until soft.

Slice the dumplings and steam them until hot.

Make gravy from the meat juices, thickening with flour if needed.

Slice the pork into portions.
