Polish Krupnik
A hearty Polish soup with pearl barley, vegetables, and chicken broth
Ingredienti

Istruzioni
Cover the chicken with water, add a bay leaf, and cook for 30 minutes, skimming off the foam.
Rinse the pearl barley and add it to the broth; cook for 20 minutes.
Dice the carrots, celery, and potatoes and add them to the soup.
Fry the onion in butter until translucent and add it to the pot.
Cook until the barley and vegetables are tender, then season with salt and pepper.
Shred the chicken into pieces, return it to the soup, and serve with dill.
