Mexican Rice
A popular homemade Mexican dish made with rice, tomatoes, and onion, perfect for a family menu.
Ingredienti
- riso300 g
- pomodori300 g
- cipolla1 pz
- aglio2 spicchi
- brodo di pollo600 ml
- cumino0.5 cucchiaino
- coriandolo15 g
- olio2 cucchiaio
Istruzioni
Rinse the rice and dry it thoroughly.
In a pot, fry the rice in oil until lightly golden.
Add the onion and garlic, and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
Pour in the tomato purée or crushed tomatoes and hot broth.
Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 15–18 minutes without stirring.
Leave covered for 5 minutes, fluff with a fork, and serve with cilantro.
