
Vegetable Pulao
A popular home-cooked dish from Indian cuisine made with basmati rice, carrots, and green peas, well suited for a family menu.

- piselli verdi150 g
- fagiolini150 g
- cipolla1 pz
- garam masala1 cucchiaino
- ghee2 cucchiaio
- sale1 a piacere

- cumino macinato1 cucchiaino
- olio2 cucchiaio
Istruzioni
Rinse the basmati rice and soak for 20 minutes.
Heat ghee or oil in a pot, then add whole spices: cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, and bay leaf.
Add the onion and fry until lightly golden.
Add the chopped vegetables, salt, and spices, and cook for 3–4 minutes.
Stir in the rice, pour in hot water in the correct ratio, and cover.
Cook over low heat until the rice is done, then leave to rest for 10 minutes and fluff.
