
Wheat Porridge with Braised Cabbage
A budget-friendly home dish made with wheat porridge and braised cabbage
Ingredienti
- semola di grano250 g
- cavolo cappuccio bianco500 g
- cipolla1 pz
- carota1 pz
- concentrato di pomodoro1.5 cucchiaio
- olio2 cucchiaio
- sale1 a piacere
- pepe nero1 a piacere
- acqua500 ml
Istruzioni
Rinse the wheat groats and cook in salted water.
Shred the cabbage, finely chop the onion and carrot.
Sauté the onion and carrot for 5 minutes.
Add the cabbage, tomato paste, a little water, salt, and pepper.
Braise for 20 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
Serve the cabbage on top of the wheat porridge or mix them together.
