Millet Porridge with Pumpkin
A sweet homestyle porridge made with millet, pumpkin, and milk
Ingredienti
- miglio200 g
- zucca400 g
- acqua300 ml
- latte500 ml
- zucchero2 cucchiaio
- burro40 g
- sale1 a piacere
Istruzioni
Rinse the millet several times and pour boiling water over it to remove any bitterness.
Cut the pumpkin into small cubes.
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, then add the millet and pumpkin.
Cook for 10 minutes, then pour in the milk and add salt and sugar.
Simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes until the pumpkin and millet are tender.
Add butter, cover for 10 minutes, and serve warm.
