Cook the rice until half-done and let it cool.

Mix the rice with eggs, bryndza or cheese, yogurt and butter.

Brush the pastry sheets or phyllo with butter and lay them into a baking dish with sides.

Spread the rice and cheese filling in an even layer.

Cover with the top pastry sheets, crimp the edges and brush with butter.

Bake at 180–190 °C until golden brown.
