Rice with Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
A hearty family lunch of rice and meat meatballs in tomato sauce
Ingredienti
- riso250 g
- maiale e manzo macinati500 g
- uovo1 pz
- cipolla1 pz
- concentrato di pomodoro3 cucchiaio
- farina1 cucchiaio
- olio2 cucchiaio
- sale1 a piacere
- pepe nero1 a piacere
- zucchero1 cucchiaino
- acqua500 ml
Istruzioni
Rinse the rice for the side dish and boil until cooked.
Mix the ground meat with the egg, finely chopped onion, salt and pepper.
Shape small meatballs and quickly fry them until golden brown.
For the sauce, mix tomato paste, water, flour, salt and a pinch of sugar.
Pour the sauce over the meatballs and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Serve the meatballs together with the rice, drizzled with the sauce.
