Rice Porridge with Chicken Gravy
Homestyle rice with a light gravy made from chicken, carrots, and onion
Ingredienti
- riso250 g
- filetto di pollo400 g
- cipolla1 pz
- carota1 pz
- farina1 cucchiaio
- olio2 cucchiaio
- sale1 a piacere
- pepe nero1 a piacere
- foglia di alloro2 pz
- brodo o acqua400 ml
Istruzioni
Rinse the rice, cover with water in a 1:2 ratio, add salt, and cook for 15 minutes with the lid on.
Cut the chicken into cubes, finely chop the onion, and grate the carrot.
Fry the chicken in oil for 5 minutes, add the vegetables, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the flour, stir to combine, then pour in the broth or water.
Simmer the gravy for 10–12 minutes and season with salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
Serve the rice topped with the hot chicken gravy.
