Shuliky with Poppy Seeds
Traditional broken flatbreads with a honey-poppy seed glaze
Ingredienti
- farina300 g
- uovo1 pz
- acqua120 ml
- miele120 g
- semi di papavero150 g
- sale1 pizzico
Istruzioni
From flour, egg, water, honey, and a pinch of salt, knead a plain dough.
Roll out a thin flatbread and prick it with a fork.
Bake at 190 °C for 15–18 min until a dry, golden crust forms.
Steep the poppy seeds in boiling water, then grind them together with honey.
Break the flatbread into pieces and pour the poppy seed-honey mixture over them.
Let stand for 15 min so the pieces absorb the mixture a little.
