Jansson's Temptation
A Swedish potato gratin with anchovies, onions, and cream
Ingredienti
- patata600 g
- cipolla1 pz
- panna200 ml
- burro40 g
- pangrattato70 g
- acciughe o spratti150 g
Istruzioni
Cut the potatoes into thin strips and the onion into half-rings.
Grease a baking dish with butter.
Layer the potatoes, onion, and anchovies or Swedish sprats.
Pour over the cream and add a little of the anchovy brine to taste.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and place small knobs of butter on top.
Bake at 180 °C for 45–60 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
