Goulash Soup
Hungarian goulash soup with beef, potatoes, and caraway seeds
Ingredienti
- manzo600 g
- patata600 g
- cipolla1 pz
- paprica2 cucchiaio
- cumino1 cucchiaino
- carota1 pz
- sale1 a piacere
- pepe nero1 a piacere
- brodo o acqua400 ml
Istruzioni
Cut the beef into cubes and finely chop the onion.
In a pot, fry the onion until golden, add the beef and brown it.
Remove the pot from the high heat, add the paprika and caraway seeds, and stir quickly.
Add the chopped carrots and potatoes, then pour in water or broth.
Cook for 50–60 minutes until the meat is tender and the potatoes have softened.
Season with salt and pepper and serve the thick soup hot.
