British fried leftovers of potatoes and cabbage with a crisp crust.

Ingredients

  • Mashed potatoes500 g
  • Cooked cabbage or Brussels sprouts300 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Butter40 g
  • Oil1 tbsp
  • Egg1 pcs

Instructions

Chop cabbage if it is in large pieces.

Fry onion in butter until soft.

Mix mashed potatoes, cabbage, and onion.

Shape one large cake or several smaller ones.

Fry until crisp underneath, then turn and brown the other side.
