Ingredients

  • Flour500 g
  • Water300 ml
  • Dry yeast7 g
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Baking soda3 tbsp
  • Coarse salt2 tsp

Instructions

Knead dough from flour, water, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Let it rise for 1 hour.

Divide the dough, roll into long ropes, and shape pretzels.

Dip each pretzel in boiling baking soda water for 20–30 seconds.

Place on a tray and sprinkle with coarse salt.

Bake at 220°C for 12–15 minutes until deep golden.
